Two pools are nice, especially the oceanfront one. The room cleanliness was below expectations and the shower pressure was weak. Loved the beach access and nearby happy hour spots. Staff was friendly, but the front desk was sometimes unresponsive.

The door barely locked, and half the outlets didn't work. It felt unsafe, especially with no response from the front desk. Definitely not worth the price we paid!

The location is perfect right on the boardwalk, with quick beach access and a nice pool. The staff was friendly, but the room cleanliness was lacking; I found stains on the sheets and some trash left behind. Happy hour at the bar was decent too. Parking can get tight. Overall, a mixed experience.

The balcony gives you a killer view of the ocean. The pool is nice and the bar staff knows how to mix a drink.
The front desk staff could use a lesson in friendliness.

pleasant staff, pleasant experience with friendly and helpful employees who even cracked jokes, along with an amazing location right on the boardwalk with easy trolley access to explore the area.

The room was spacious, and the beds were very comfy. The sofa bed, however, was outdated and had a rough mattress. Temperature control was decent, but the AC unit emitted a strange odor. The balcony offered a lovely view, but the sliding door needed tightening. The room cleanliness was satisfactory, though I noticed some rust in the bathroom. Light noise from the hallway occasionally disturbed the peace. Wi-Fi connectivity was poor, and I struggled with the TV remote. the towels were insufficient, but the staff promptly provided extras upon request.

Exceptional location. The oceanfront room on the fifth floor provided breathtaking views and easy access to the boardwalk. Jeff's friendly demeanor at check-in set a positive tone. His restaurant recommendations, including Assateague Island, were spot on. The room was spacious and clean. Pools were enjoyable, and the bar/grill offered reasonably priced, delicious food. cigarette and marijuana odors were disappointing, indicative of poor rule enforcement. There was also a frustrating delay with water access upon check-in, which should have been communicated better. Minor maintenance issues, like a faulty bathroom fan, required attention. Despite these setbacks, we left with joyful memories and are eager to return with our family.

Had a great time! Loved the location, right by the beach and boardwalk. There were awesome restaurants nearby, and the room was comfy with a partial ocean view. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Plus, lunch from the restaurant was delicious!
A few hiccups: coffee pot and balcony lock were broken, and room service didn't happen as expected. Ice machine was a hike away, and room cleanliness was a bit lacking.

The location was perfect, right on the quieter end of the boardwalk, making beach access a breeze. Watching sunrises from the balcony was a highlight, though that porch light attracted swarms of bugs at night. Unfortunately, cleaning was lacking; a hot dog and leftover soap awaited in our room. Staff were friendly but not always responsive—issues with the fridge took days to resolve. I loved the convenient poolside bar for snacks and drinks, but with flat pillows and questionable maintenance, it left me pondering if I’d return.

The Crystal Beach Hotel boasts a prime location just a short walk from the boardwalk and beach, surrounded by various restaurants. our experience was marred by maintenance issues, inconsistent room quality, and subpar customer service. This beautiful area deserves better accommodation standards.

I absolutely loved having an ocean front room on the 5th floor which gave us breathtaking views and was just a short stroll from the bustling boardwalk, where we enjoyed everything from dining at nearby Jonah & The Whale Seafood, to the fun attractions like Ripley's Believe It or Not that is less than 3 km away, not to mention the relaxing beach right outside our door; the friendliness of the staff and the nice pools made our stay even better, though I did find that the pool area could get a little messy at times.

The location is perfect, right near the beach. The kids enjoyed the pool and I loved the food at the bar.

The location right by the beach and boardwalk was perfect for daily adventures! The pool area was a hit, especially with the shallow end for the kids to enjoy while we lounged with great food and drinks. The staff was incredibly friendly and made our stay feel special!

It kept us comfortable throughout our stay, especially with the fluctuating weather outside. In terms of amenities, we appreciated having tea and coffee facilities in the room, which was a nice touch for our mornings. The sitting area in the room was cozy, and we enjoyed relaxing there after a day of exploring the nearby beach. there were no dining table or garden furniture available in our room, which would have been convenient for enjoying meals or spending time outdoors. The free toiletries provided were a nice gesture, but we found the selection to be limited. It would have been nice to have a wider range of toiletries available. the absence of an AM/FM alarm clock made it a bit challenging to wake up on time for our planned activities. The flat-screen TV in the room was a good distraction, but the carpeted floor appeared a bit worn out and could use some cleaning or updating. We also missed out on any happy hour offerings at the on-site restaurant/bar, which we heard from other guests was a pleasant experience.

the room at crystal beach was clean, and the location was awesome - right by the boardwalk and the beach. we got to spend extra time exploring and grabbing food 'cause they let us stay a few hours after check-out. the staff was so helpful - especially the reception lady, and the romanian employees were really nice.

The whole family enjoyed the arts and crafts, delicious food, and lively entertainment, making each day memorable and enjoyable for all of us.
My children wanted more accessible grab bars in the bathtub for added safety.

The location was fantastic right on the boardwalk, offering easy access to the beach and providing a peaceful environment away from the noise. We enjoyed the bar and grill on-site, offering tasty food options for a relaxing time by the pools.
The service at this hotel was severely lacking. From broken amenities such as the bathtub and dresser to the uncleanliness of the carpets, it was clear that maintenance was not a priority.

We hit up all the cool shops and arcades, chowed down on epic food, and jammed to live music! It was like a total blast! Plus, we were just steps away from the beach and had the best time ever!
Would've been sick to have a banging nightclub nearby for some late-night dance parties with our crew! .

My experience at this beachfront hotel was fantastic! The location was perfect, right at the beginning of the boardwalk, allowing me to enjoy a less crowded area while still being close to all the main attractions. The staff were friendly and accommodating, especially at check-in where they went above and beyond to make sure I was settled in right away. The bar/restaurant and pool area were great, providing plenty of seating and a beautiful balcony view. The 24/7 gym was an added bonus, although maintenance could have been a bit quicker. a wonderful experience.
The cleanliness of the hallways and elevators left something to be desired.

I chose Crystal Beach for its proximity to the Ocean City Boardwalk, and it did not disappoint. The ability to request the removal of old items and delivery of new items through the front desk was a pleasant surprise. The variety of items at the poolside Barracuda's Bar and Grill was also impressive.
Noise levels were ridiculous, not family-friendly.

the location was great, less than 200 feet from the sand! nice boardwalk location. great location for us as we like to be on the boardwalk but not down near the inlet. the hotel room itself was very clean and not damaged in any way that we saw. it is one of the nicer hotels that i've been to in a long time. they also have breakfast in the building and a bar next to us, plenty of food. and they also have a big dining area in the lobby which looks nice even though we didn't use it. good experience overall.
